Whiteriver Service Unit Asbestos Abatement
The Whiteriver Indian Health Service Hospital requires a contracted project for the removal of asbestos containing material (ACM) in housing Unit 35. The scope of work detailed below outlines the required project outcomes. The Contractor shall be responsible for all necessary work to achieve required outcomes including labor, equipment, tools, personal protective equipment (PPE), Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) coordination, Infection Control and Risk Assessment (ICRA) policy adherence, internal construction permits, incidental design, travel, per diem, TERO fees, and other related expenses required to complete the project.
The contractor shall remove and dispose of sheet vinyl flooring which has asbestos containing material (ACM) located in housing unit 35. Locations of the ACM are kitchen, hallway bathroom, and utility closet. The ACM sheet vinyl flooring is currently encapsulated in a layer of non-ACM vinyl floor tile. Both layers of vinyl flooring shall be removed.
