Westland Roof Replacement
"GENERAL
A. Scope‐
1. Remove existing roofing system to roof decking.
2. Install 2 layers of 1.5 polyisocyanurate insulation over existing roof decking, fastening in
accordance with membrane manufacturer specifications.
3. Contractor shall furnish and install a tan 40 mil single‐ply membrane roofing system that is
fabricated of a weft inserted low‐shrink, anti‐wicking polyester fabric and has a thermoplastic
coating material laminated to both sides as manufactured by Duro‐Last Roofing, Inc.
4. Install prefabricated flashings around all curbs and deck penetrations in accordance with
membrane manufacturer specifications.
5. Install 4 2‐piece compression edge detail with Kynar‐coated metal cover, as manufactured by
Exceptional Metals, Inc., at roof perimeter. Cover color shall be chosen by building owner.
6. All mechanical and plumbing work, including, but not limited to disconnection and reconnection,
shall be the responsibility of the building owner.
