Amendment #1, Full solicitation added 4/4/2017

The USDA Forest Service, Superior National Forest, located in Duluth Minnesota anticipates issuing a Request for Proposals to provide aggregate crushing and stockpiled material in multiple pits across the West Zone of the Superior National Forest.

Optional bid items include additional crushed aggregate.

These projects are located on the Kawishiwi and Laurentian Ranger Districts, West Zone of the Superior National Forest.
 
The contractor(s) shall provide all expertise, labor, supervision, services, equipment, tools, supplies, and permits (when and if required), transportation, and incidentals necessary to create crushed aggregate, provide testing, pit and quarry development.

Price range is between $125,000 and $175,000 with options.

This is a synopsis, the full solicitation documents including specifications will be issued on or about April 6, 2017. Deadline for proposals will be May 5, 2017. Questions concerning the solicitation must be in writing and sent via email to Paul Nephew, Contracting Officer, pnephew@fs.fed.us.

In order to receive award under this RFP the successful offeror shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM), and the invoiceing Processing Platform (IPP). NAICS: 212319, the size standard is 500 Employees. This project is being solicited as a 100% set aside for Small Business. All work is to comply with local, Federal and State codes and is subject to Service

All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the Forest Service.
