West Mt Fuel Reduction and Slash Treatment 7-9: The Lincoln National Forests, Smokey Bear Ranger District has a requirement for the reduction of tree densities and slash Treatment on 1053 acres. Vegetation treatments shall be completed by heavy mechanized equipment (i.e. dozer, excavator, etc). Slash-treatment shall be implemented through complete piling of slash that is created as a result of thinning treatments.
