Wellness and Health Management
We are working to develop a robust health management program to complement the benefit design and ensure that members will have access to wellness supports, including disease management programs, health coaching, tobacco quit programs, weight management and nutrition services, and fitness programs.
In early 2010 the State will issue a request for proposals (RFP) for procurement of health and disease management services as recommended during the strategic planning process. The health management RFP will include a pro forma contract specifying scope of work, payment terms and methodology, performance guarantees and other issues related to the proposed services.
