Introduce a new CMS that can accommodate daily content updates (Current
CMS/database is SEVA).
2. Migration of our current database. The database includes (but isn’t limited to):
a. Customer profiles (including which events they’ve registered for, which emails our
system has sent to them, their current homebuying status, manual entries by Live
Baltimore staff)
b. Event registration
c. Neighborhood Profiles for approx. 130 neighborhoods (geo coding field that
calculates longitude/latitude, schools, descriptions, etc.), which populates the
“Discover Your Neighborhood” map.
3. Introduce responsive HTML5 design for all commonly used screen sizes.
4. Introduce Interactive customer profile pages that will create automated, custom
recommendations as well as allow customers to “bookmark” additional information.
5. Introduce corporate profile pages (for paying companies) for local employers to share with
employees through HR.
6. Upgrade real estate agent profile pages (for Live Baltimore’s paying agents) that allow the
addition of open house dates, testimonials, social media feeds, blog posts, maps, etc.
7. Keep the rotating tile ads throughout the site (for paying partners).
8. Upgrade neighborhood profile pages with a social media component, Walkscore (or
similar), and features to allow neighborhood representatives to add news and events as
well as update/change profile information easily.
9. Introduce Neighborhood Ambassador profile pages with a “contact ambassador” feature for
volunteers who are willing to talk with homebuyers about the lifestyle of the neighborhood
in which they live
10.Upgrade event registration to allow customers to register, pay (we currently send users offsite to Paypal, we don’t necessarily require a shopping cart/e-commerce function built-in to
our site), and print tickets for more than one event at a time.
11.Introduce customer service scheduling feature to set up a chat, video chat, phone call, or
face-to-face with Live Baltimore staff or real estate professionals.
12.Introduce Webinar & blog section to showcase Live Baltimore custom content.
13.Upgrade tracking/reporting of each profiled customer as well as overall site performance
(we currently use Google Analytics).
14.Introduce “What Neighborhood Am I In” mobile app functionality with the ability to read
current location and provide information and social discovery technology (i.e. Highlight,
Glancee, Sonar, Banjo). We are hoping to accomplish this with the HTML5 design of the
site.
