The library currently has a website that was developed by library staff www.mfrl.org. MFRL would like an interactive website that enables citizens to use electronic reference and information sources, use the library catalog, make book requests, communicates with library staff, reserve community room space, sign up for classes, and interact with as many library services as possible form outside the library building.
Also, the Library currently has a limited intranet site. MFRL would like an intranet that will reduce clerical burdens, facilitate uniform practices among the branches, provide easy access to forms and manuals, collect statistics, keep timesheets and draw staff attention to new information they need for work.
The intent and purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit sealed proposals from qualified and experienced web site developers and to award a contract, through competitive negotiation, to design and implement a web site and an intranet site for Montgomery -Floyd Regional Library (MFRL)System.
