Website Update and Maintenance Services
CSTD is soliciting proposals from qualified organizations/individuals to assist in the update of its website. The current website can be viewed at http://www.cstd.ca. This RFP is for a an upgrade and re-design of the existing site. Though exact details on the requirement are explained in more detail later in this RFP, in brief, the CSTD site needs to be upgraded to include a link to the existing CSTD office database (an SQL environment) , enhance the existing e-Commerce capability to include all transaction, improve the esthetic image of the site and more adequately reflect the influence of the CSTD brand. Also, because CSTD is a professional organization, there is a requirement for the site to have a general public area and a members only area where CSTD members can access exclusive goods and services. For comparison and planning purposes, the following organizations are similar in nature to CSTD and reflect the types of website capabilities that CSTD requires:
1.American Society for Training Development (ASTD) - www.astd.org
2.International Society for Performance Improvement (ISPI) www.ispi.org
3.Project Management Institute (PMI) www.pmi.org
