The Commission is requesting proposals from qualified bidders to provide consulting services for website design and development, general technical support and website hosting services for the Commission's website
(http://www.PRTCtransit.org).
Outside of the website hosting function, work will be issued on a task order basis. Specific
tasks will include general website design to enhance appearance and functionality of the
website, design and formatting of map graphic files in an easy-to-use interactive format,
maintaining integration of Google Transit as trip planning tool, assisting with integration of Rider
Express email subscription service into website, offering guidance on ADA website compliance,
providing dependable hosting of website, and 24/7 technical support and guidance on
implementation of new technologies or enhancements for PRTC’s website.
The successful bidder will also be required to periodically collaborate with PRTC’s schedule
design and marketing contractors to obtain and format schedule and map files and various
marketing collateral for posting to the website. Collaboration with other third-party contractors
may be required. These services will be provided in accordance with the Scope of Work (I.3)
listed herein.
