The School District is requesting proposals for the design and development of a website. The target audience that the website is intended for specifically includes (but is in no way limited to) parents, students, teachers, staff, and community members. The general goal of the website is to effectively deliver and promote all relevant information, events, resources, and related communication mediums as they relate to the school district and the surrounding community. The website should also closely reflect the unique culture of the town and its surrounding area, which is an impression that we would like specifically to convey to any prospective community members, parents, and press.
The delivery of information will take the form of important news, scheduled events, emergency alerts, and other miscellaneous messages. In addition to the delivery of information, the website will also promote such news and events through the delivery of more interactive and visually engaging content such as image galleries and streaming video. Other pertinent resources such as forms, state and federal guidelines, health and safety FAQs, and other information will either be linked to or available for direct download where applicable.
