The non-profit organization is accepting proposals to design, develop, and implement the organization’s main organizational website and its event website. This will be a concept to completion
production. The purpose of this RFP is to provide a fair evaluation for all candidates and
to provide the candidates with the evaluation criteria against which they will be judged.
The organization currently has a web presence that is somewhat outdated in appearance,
structure and in the presentation of content and is therefore seeking the services of an
experienced website/web application design firm to either re-engineer or newly develop,
and implement two key websites to better reflect the mission and incorporate the latest
web technologies. The preference is to provide MOWCM with a proposal for each
scenario (re-engineering the current websites and newly developing both websites),
although a single best case scenario is acceptable with an explanation of why only a
single best scenario is proposed. This project will entail both interface design and backend development.
Upon completion of the websites, MOWCM will assume full responsibility for website
content maintenance and administration. All plans, specifications, maps, or other
documents as well as content, coding and graphics will be delivered to, and will become
the sole property of the MOWCM. Proposals should include basic training as well as fee
structure for limited post development changes. The hosting of the website should
continue with the current web hosting company unless there is a compelling reason to
change, which should be explained in the proposal.
