The Board will receive proposals for Website Design, Development, Hosting and Maintenance.
The Board will receive proposals for the design and maintenance of the organization’s outward
facing website and a secured intranet site. The selected vendor will create a high-quality, userfriendly website for job seekers, businesses and community partners. The design of the website
must include, at a minimum, the following elements:
Outward-facing website accessible from the world wide web
Mobile ready version of the site
Scalable content management system
Integration of social media, aggregators and RSS feed (examples include but are not limited to
Twitter, Facebook, Flipboard, Linkedin, etc.)
Event calendar that can be managed by designated workforce staff without giving full admin rights
to the content management system.
Should be able to upload mass calendar edits via API.
Links to word translation and keyword searches
Contact form with email submission to designated address
User name and password login feature for access to secure content, blogging, feedback, etc.
Site search feature
Ability to stream audio and video
Ability for electronic forms to be housed, signed digitally and emailed
Utilizing mapping program such as Google Maps to identify/describe workforce center locations
and/or other services providers such as child care facilities or colleges.
Blogging capability
Ability for customers to place into a cart the pages/content they wish to print or email and send as
one document
