After discussing usability, attractiveness and promotional shortcomings with the Citys current website, the Web Committee decided to pursue professional design help. The committee identified the strengths and weaknesses of other municipal websites to get some feel for the design preferences. Finally, the Webmaster drafted a Request For Proposals (RFP) to solicit bids for this project from design firms.
