Web-based image library and project management software
In order to meet the needs of domestic and international stakeholders/clients in regards to providing them with up to date location listings (images) as well as the departments need to gather reliable data; The Department of Commerce, Film Office (ADOCFO) is currently using e-mail, FAX, and postal carriers. The ADOCFO is requesting it upgrade is current methods to a system either hosted or housed within Commerce that fully integrates the three major aspects of what the office needs to provide superior customer and stakeholder service: image management, contact management, and project management. It is essential that this system be internet based, highly secure, and accessible to its users anywhere, anytime whether that location be from the office, home, or anywhere else in the world.
The software must be available off the shelf and not custom built. It must be able to store each locations description and profile as well as associate contact information. It should be able to combine a comprehensive contact management (containing project and client data) with the digital library to create online, customized, URL packages. These packages are accessed by film industry professionals including location scouts and production studio executives via a short personalized email message containing a link to their customized URL, thus avoiding the transmission of large image files and text descriptions either digitally or through a courier.
