The Social Security Administration?s Office of Inspector General (OIG) is seeking a Web-based application system for authoring, retrieving, maintaining, and updating OIG policies and procedures. The following are the requirements for this application:
1. Provide a documentation library, which will give users web access to the documentation they need?provide browse and search tools.
2. Provide a password-program support facility to maintain, modify, and update the documentation library.
3. Convert existing policies and procedures into the new application format.
4. Provide a customizable workflow to facilitate review and approval for modifications and updates.
5. Provide on-site training for users, authors, and approvers.
6. Provide system documentation?online and hard copy.
7. Install and configure an emergency backup server infrastructure that will support the application in disaster recovery scenarios.
8. Configure a backup database to support the application as a duplicate of the production system.
9. Provide ongoing maintenance and support.
10. Must be 508 compliant.
