Web-based Geospatial Information System Consulting Services
The Capitol Region Council of Governments (CRCOG) is soliciting proposals from qualified and experienced firms who have successfully guided the evaluation and implementation of Web-based Geospatial Information Systems. The intent of this RFP is to solicit sealed proposals to establish a contract through competitive negotiation for the consultation services of such a firm.
The Capitol Region Council of Governments is soliciting proposals for GIS solutions that will support of the following goals: Purchase and installation of GIS software and set up services of 5-10 data layers for web-based use of regional municipalities. Data layers include: CRCOG parcel level land use data, zoning, street centerlines, digital orthophotography, and other data readily available from state, federal and CRCOG sources. Scope of work includes assessment of the regions Geographic Information Systems (GIS) needs and development of an integrated regionwide GIS Strategic Plan (Plan) based on the regions current and future GIS needs.
