The CMS is expected to form the basis of a number of services, including:
A consistent look and feel across all web pages from Central Office, Schools, and Teachers
Content Authoring from School, Office, or Home environments
Automated, audited workflow and sign-off process management
Templates
Calendaring
Role-based security
Search
Separation of content, presentation and site structure
Library Services (Versioning and Rollback)
Publishing and Delivery of content to end users
Integration with existing FCPS web content not yet phased into the CMS
Security
Maintenance and Support
