AGP-AMDe is the flagship project under USAID's Feed the Future (FTF) Strategy for Ethiopia and is USAID's largest contribution to the government of Ethiopia's (GoE) Agricultural Growth Program (AGP). AGP supports the Comprehensive African Agricultural Development Program (CAADP) framework by strengthening agricultural productivity and markets in the high rainfall regions of Amhara; Oromia; Southern Nations, Nationalities, and People's Region (SNNPR); and Tigray.
AGP Knowledge Management Portal
The knowledge management portal will be a source of accurate and timely market information and provide trade promotion materials. The portal will aim to advance value chain productivity as well as increase regional and international trade and investment. The Knowledge Portal solution brings program staff, work processes, content, and ICT technology into a single solution. The portal will also be a platform to share project learning, value chain studies, market data and standards, promote linkages with exporters, and other key industry updates and information on targeted Ethiopian value chains.
Target audience:
The target audience for the Knowledge Portal is the Ethiopian government and partner agencies, private sector, exporters, farmer cooperative unions and industry associations. These stakeholders currently have access to the internet and will benefit from the portal immediately.
