Web Portal
The bidder will recommend the use of either
uPortal or Oracle Portal as the software product. The successful bidder will develop and implement a Web portal for Ohio University by August 2010 that
will meet requirements in the areas of branding, content, search functions, monitoring and reporting,
navigation, technology, and security and role management. The bidder will recommend the use of either
uPortal or Oracle Portal as the software product, and will respond to this RFP by describing how the
recommended product may or may not be used. If the bidder would like to offer both products as a
solution, please provide two responses. The bidder must also provide information about how they will
facilitate knowledge transfer, including documentation and training.
