Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi (TAMU-CC) is accepting proposals and intends to enter into an agreement with a vendor regarding the architectural restructuring and redesign of its campus website in accordance with the terms and conditions and requirements set forth in this request for proposal. TAMU-CC prefers a proposer that has experience in developing web sites for colleges and universities.
The universitys current Website has become difficult for audiences to navigate and locate various departments and support material for information retrieval, student recruitment, marketing, employee communications, and service to many publics. The current site also lacks a common organizational look that supports the Universitys branding. Two issues with the current site that TAMU-CC desires to rectify with the new site are:
1.the difficulty in locating information and services expediently
2.the lack of unified branding imagery employed within the upper-level pages, as well as complementary best practice language to support audience comprehension.
TAMU-CC needs a user-friendly and scalable site that, by its construction and graphic design, represents the University well and promotes the attributes and assets of the University.
