The State of Connecticut currently has 82 state agencies with approximately 150 office locations and approximately 45,000 state employees. The majority of the Executive Branch agencies utilize a Web Content Management System (WCMS) for their primary website. The WCMS is supported by the Department of Information Technology and provides standardization among all agency websites.
The State of Connecticut is seeking solution for agencies that need marketing campaigns or specialized sites outside the standard WCMS. This bid also seeks to provide ongoing maintenance services for agencies using the WCMS that do not have enough resources to update the system. The WCMS has a simple html editor and DOIT will provide online training to learn the system when a vendor is selected for this work. It should not take a resource with html experience more than six hours to complete the training.
