Web Development
The Council is seeking to further align workforce and economic development efforts in the County. We are requesting quotes from economic development and/or economic sector-focused organizations that are interested in opportunities to develop a workforce component of their websites. The components should heighten community awareness of current and future career opportunities in the Countys growing economic sectors. The goals are to:
Provide a view of the sectors economic health in the County
Increase visibility of career options with existing employers
Develop resources for the workforce when considering careers in targeted growth sectors
Increase connection to existing sector employers
The key components of the web-based content may include:
1. Development and/or production of a video of the respondent organization leader outlining sector changes, expected sector growth, new and existing employer investment, or other news relevant to the sectors economic health. Videos may be produced 2, 3, or 4 times each year depending upon the organizations response.
2. Development/inclusion of a webpage interface to an established employment opportunities database or service currently utilized by the respondent organization. The responding organization may select to include such a database or service, however, this RFQ will only fund the cost of the interface.
3. Development of web-based content focused on workforce information including labor market statistics, or a qualified overview of the sector workforce.
4. Inclusion of Council developed/purchased videos with sector employersa 2 minute video for the company to talk about:
a. Why they are in Indianapolis
b. Employment opportunities at the company
c. What they look for in candidates
d. Employee spots about why they like the company, or about their job
e. Other workforce and company based information
5. Inclusion of Council developed/purchased talent videos:
a. Educators highlight curriculum/degreesstudent outputs
b. Top industry leaders
6. Link to our websites and vice versa
