Web Based Card Services
The purpose of this RFP is to solicit proposals from firms interested in providing software and a web-based service that transfers funds from a credit or debit card to a University of Connecticut Husky One Card stored value account known as Husky Bucks. This service will interface with the Universitys current ID card reader system software, CBORD CS GOLD Systems version 5.0.12 or higher, and an Oracle 10g database. The official ID card used at all University of Connecticut campuses is known as the Husky One Card. The Husky One Card is the access device for the Husky Bucks account program. Through the vendors website that is linked to the Universitys One Card Office website, students and employees can:
1)
use a credit / debit card to deposit funds in real-time into a Husky Bucks account,
2)
review online deposits made at the site,
3)
review in real-time deposits and purchases made with Husky Bucks for the past two months,
4)
view other University debit account balances (such as dining points), and
5)
de-activate and reactivate their Husky One Card.
