Web Application Development/Database Design
The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to obtain the services of a qualified Web Application Development firm to provide a Web Application to replace and upgrade our current system's capabilities.
The purpose of this project is to build a complete Web-based and Database-driven Content Management System (CMS) application, corresponding Websites, and Web application interfaces.
Using the working title "Signet," this system will be a completely online-accessible application, allowing staff to access to information and functionality, including administrative functions, regardless of location. This system will manage and operate the various Websites, Website components, and applications needed as part of the Signet project. One necessary component is a secure analytics tool for tracking and analyzing financial information.
The Signet System is an organization-wide IT solution that will replace processes currently controlled by 2 or more separate systems. Signet primarily refers to:
1.A Microsoft SQL Server Database which will house organizational information of financial, administrative, and operational significance.
2.A Web-based front-end interface that will give staff:
a.Access to information, history, and analytical tools
b.Administrative capabilities for content and basic structural/formatting editing.
Additionally, Signet will power CSC, HSCA, MRC and NTN's Websites with the information it stores, and offer both the general public and our members additional tools and information to better connect them with our services.
