This notice of proposed acquisition is posted as an intent to award a purchase order on a non-competitive basis to ResearchGate, Invalidenstr. 115, 10115 Berlin, Germany.


Description of Requirement:
Over the past several years, NIA has received over $1 billion in additional funding to support research on Alzheimer's and related dementias. These increases have resulted in significantly expanded funding opportunities in the Alzheimer's space. In order to ensure that high-quality applications increase proportionately with funding, NIA needs to reach new scientific audiences with information about the expanded funding opportunities in this area.

Summary Statement:
This notice is not a request for competitive proposals.


It is anticipated that a solicitation will be issued on or about July 12, 2018. Interested parties may request a copy of the solicitation or identify their interest and capability by contacting the contract specialist specified in this announcement.


All responses to this pre-solicitation notice must be received by 4:00 PM. Eastern Standard Time, on July 22, 2018 and must reference the announcement number specified above.

Fax responses will not be accepted.


In addition the Dun & Bradstreet Number (DUNS), the Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN), and the certification of business size must be included in the response. All respondents must have an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) www.sam.gov.
