The Department of the Interior, National Park Service (NPS), Fredericksburg National Military Park, VA is issuing Request for Quote (RFQ) 140P4218Q0085, for the construction of a drinking water well by means of a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Contract. The work includes providing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supplies, transportation and supervision for the drilling of an engineered commercial well at a depth not to exceed 600ft. that will provide an adequate water supply of 35 gpm. in accordance with Virginia Department of Health requirements per the specifications of this solicitation. This project is being solicited as 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The solicitation, including all documents, will be posted to the websites, http://www.fedbizopps.gov and https://www.fedconnect.net/FedConnect. No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed or issued. To receive the solicitation package you must download it from one of the above sites. It is therefore the contractor's responsibility to check the internet site daily for any posted changes to the solicitation. Contractors must be registered in SAM-System for Award Management-in order to receive contract awards. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 237110 Water and Sewer Line and Related Structures Construction. The magnitude for this project is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00 and is subject to the Davis-Bacon Act. A Bid Guarantee will be required with your proposal. Payment Bond and Performance Bond are required within 10 days of award. There will be a site visit scheduled and perspective bidders are encouraged to visit the site to satisfy themselves as to conditions before providing a proposal.
