Water System Improvement Project~2007 New & Parallel Water Lines)Ph I
The 2007 New and Parallel Water Lines project for the City of Manhattan is being modified to allow additional time to acquire utility easements. Consequently, the work has been split into two phases. Phase I will include the installations along Tecumseh Road, Claflin Road, Kearney Street, 4th Street, and 5th Street where either there are no easements or easements can be acquired before construction. The Drawings and Project Manual issued under the original Notice to Bidders (May 13, 2009) are still valid. Any and all changes to the Contract Documents resulting from the phasing of the work, including a revised Bid Form, will be identified and/or included in an addendum to be issued Wednesday, July 8, 2009. A date for the Phase II Bid Opening has not been set, but will take place once the City has acquired all remaining easements.
