Water Softener Salt Delivery
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The current solicitation number is RFQ 14-239-SOL-00018 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This acquisition is being conducted under Simplified Acquisitions Procedures in accordance with FAR part 13. The clauses and provisions referenced in this solicitation may be obtained in full text form at www.arnet.gov/far. The NAICS code is 454390 , and the small business size standard is 7.0 mil. This is a total small business set aside.
The Department of Health and Human Services/Indian Health Service has a requirement for delivery and filling of the Government owned softener tank of crystal salt (sodium chloride), softener salt at the White Earth Health Center, located in Ogema, Minnesota.

BASIS FOR AWARD
The Government intends to make an award without discussion therefore; the initial quotation shall contain the offeror's best price and shall be determined to be the overall best value and most advantageous to the Government.
