The Downtown San Diego Partnership is requesting proposals for water feature maintenance services for the water feature located in Children's Park at 1st and Island in Downtown San Diego.
Scope of Work: The scope of work shall include regularly scheduled cleaning of the water features that accomplishes the following for a 12 month period.
Children's Park Water Feature
Inspections of the pool basin not less than 4 days per week.
Vacuuming and sweeping of the pool basin not less than 4 days per week.
Cleaning of skimmer basket not less than 4 times per week.
Removal of floating debris not less than 4 days per week.
Backwashing of filter system as dictated by pressure differential after vacuuming of pool.
Removal and cleaning of pump system strainer baskets not less than 4 days per week.
Testing of chemical balance and water quality not less than 4 days per week.
Add chemicals to maintain water quality and chemical balance as required.
Purchase and replacement of chemicals as needed.
Quarterly calibration of chemical control system to factory specifications.
Quarterly washing of sensor probes to factory specifications.
Remove and rebuild filter valve to factory specifications.
Replace missing or broken skimmer basket as needed.
Replace sprinkler heads as needed.
Report any problems or deficiencies in a timely manner to Clean & Safe Operations staff.
