Wastewater Engineering Services for The Improvements of Low Level Sewershed Collection Systems
The City has been requested by the Department of Public Works to advertise for Civil/Environmental Engineering Firm to perform Wastewater Engineering services for the Bureau of Water and Wastewater. Three (3) firms will be selected to perform the design of improvements recommended by the recently completed Low Level Sewershed Study and Plan under the Wet Weather Program Consent Decree. The Sewershed covers an area of about 13.3 square miles and is located in the downtown central business district and adjacent to the harbor area of the City of Baltimore. The work may include designing of relief sewers, sewer storage facilities, point repairs, rehabilitation, and replacement of sanitary sewers within the Low Level Sewershed. The recommended projects have deadlines and there are stipulated penalties associated with these projects.
