Warehouse Renovations #693-12-055
The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Wilkes-Barre, PA requires the renovation of existing space for Warehouse Renovations of the basement in storage building 12 (approximately 10,000 Sq. Ft.) of the Wilkes-Barre VA Medical Facility. Work shall include masonry, carpentry, and metals among other trades. The contractor shall perform the work in accordance with the drawings and specifications. Project Number 693-12-005. The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, material, tools, supervision, equipment, permits, testing and reports in accordance with all federal, state and local codes and regulations. The magnitude of this VA construction project is estimated to be between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000. Period of Performance will be approximately 365 calendar days after issuance of Notice to Proceed. All work on this project shall be accomplished between 8 AM and 4:30 PM Monday through Friday. Set-Aside Information: This solicitation is to be issued as a 100% service-disabled veteran small business set aside (SDVOSB). The firm must be small business under relevant North American Industrial Classification Standard (NAICS) code and the must be registered and current in the following websites: https://www.sam.gov/portal/SAM/#1 and www.vetbiz.gov . Offerors must ensure registrations in these websites are not expired and are correct, current and valid. The NAICS code for this project is 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, and the small business size standard is $36.5 Million. A pre-proposal conference and site visit will be held within two weeks after issuance of the solicitation. The exact date/time/location of the conference will be specified in the solicitation.
