This Request for Proposal (RFP) is issued for the purpose of supporting the IQSC initiative in developing a data warehouse architecture that provides improved processes through automation of data loading and data Quality Assurance (QA). It will also allow for improved access to the information via BI tools. The automation of the data loads to the warehouse and QA processes is critical in improving staff productivity and decreasing the amount of time currently spent in duplication of efforts. Improved access and speed of the data analysis via BI tools will also assist the efficiency of the Foundation in providing custom data extracts along with improving the effectiveness of the tools for our customers. Our current BI Tools in-house are Cognos Power Play 7.4, Cognos Query Tool 8.3, and Microsoft SSRS Dashboard Reports and a migration of the current tools will be a critical piece of the contract as we refine our processes in the warehouse. The Foundation IQSC desires a next-generation application for data analysis that is easily scalable for business going forward and simple to maintain. This may be achieved by staying with our current tools, through upgrades in our current tools, or consideration of other applications that work within our current budgets. This data will be used by Foundation staff, hospital executives, and other healthcare analyst and is integral in decision making.
