The County is looking to contract a wage and benefit study to determine whether the County's pay and benefits for its about 170 employees is competitive with the market and that job descriptions accurately reflect the expectations of the County in regard to all of its employees. Because the County's job descriptions are out of date in many cases and it is recognized that job descriptions today are tending to move away from a task based format, the County will require assistance in redeveloping its job descriptions as part of the process. Proposals for this work are to be split between the wage and benefit study portion and the job description redevelopment portion of the contract.
