Wade Creek Park Art Installation
The Estacada Area Arts Commission, in collaboration with the Estacada Parks and Recreation Commission, is seeking qualifications from artists or artist teams for an exterior permanent artwork to be sited at Wade Creek Park in Estacada. Proposals to purchase existing artwork will also be considered.
Wade Creek Park, the city's first public park, is just over four acres and is adjacent to the newly constructed, beautiful Estacada Public Library. The park includes a pond and natural viewing area, a children's playground, restrooms, a parking lot and a picnic pavilion. The recently completed Wade Creek Park Phase II provides recreational activities to an expanded population (youth and adults) by extending playfields into an adjacent 0.71 acre level cleared site recently purchased by the City.
