East Brush Creek Culvert Replacement

Purpose: The intent of the project is to replace undersized culverts on National Forest System Roads with aquatic organism passages for the purposes of habitat restoration, flood capacity and resiliency, road reconstruction, and to upgrade aging infrastructure to current forest standards.

Scope of Work: The work shall consist of what is shown on the plans and stated in the specifications for East Brush Creek Road. Work includes, but is not limited to: traffic control signs, install stream flow diversion system at existing culvert, remove existing culvert, excavation, construction or placement of footings, construction of stream channel and banks, erect plate box culvert, structural backfill and embankment, surface aggregate placement, seeding, planting, and final site work.


Period of Performance: East Brush Creek shall be completed during the in-stream construction window of August 1 - October 15. This site shall be completed in its entirety during one construction season. Construction is anticipated for the 2020 construction season. The contract shall be completed by November 30, 2020.


Award Determination: Shall be selected on Best Overall Value to the Government as specified in Section M.


Type of Contract: Fixed-Price Construction Contract: Payment will be made on actual work performed unless otherwise noted.
