The Government proposes to acquire, on a five-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, a minimum quantity of 2,068 each up to 4,468 each maximum of a WIRING ROPE ASSEMBLY; NSN: 1640-01-579-8607; Part Number: 1010392-007 applicable to the BE UH-60 Blackhawk weapon system. Production Lead Time (PLT) with First Article Testing is 2,068 each, 405 Days After Contract Award (DACA). PLT without First Article Testing is 2,068 each, 270 DACA with deliveries to NEW CUMBERLAND, PA, 17070-5002This item is restricted to TERRY CABLE, CAGE CODE 0XZ68 AND STANTEK MANUFACTURING LLC CAGE CODE: 6D8H7This part must be acquired from a manufacturing source(s) specified on a source control or selected item drawing as defined by the current version of DoD-STD-100. Suitable technical data, Government data rights, or manufacturing knowledge are not available to permit acquisition from other sources, nor qualification testing of another part, nor use of a second source part in the intended application. Although, by DoD-STD-100 definition, altered and selected items shall have an adequate technical data package, data review discloses that required data or data rights are not in Government possession and cannot be economically obtained.This part must be acquired from a manufacturing source (s) specified on a source control or selected item drawing as defined by the current version of DoD-STD-100. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are
encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the
website: https://amcomdmz.redstone.army.mil/casl_cmo/casldba.casl_cmo_samsar and looking
under Standardized Aviation and Missile Source Approval Request (SAMSAR). All responsible
sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. The closing date
annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for
solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above. Foreign Firms
are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective
embassies.
