WIC Vendor Training
The State seeks a vendor to conduct education courses for grocery store and pharmacy owners and/or employees. The vendor will provide traveling teaching staff to affect the training of 2000 plus stores throughout the state that are contracted to exchange WIC vouchers for specific food items. The successful applicant will have multiple trainers on staff with a minimum of three years experience and will show a detailed knowledge of the State WIC Vendor Management Code and those parts of the federal WIC and SNAP regulations which control retail vendor activity. Requires knowledge of the problems related to the sale of retail food and pharmaceuticals.
