to establish an agreement for the professional services for a Wordpress website developer to redesign the current website and content management system in order to modernize, streamline, and make the website more useable.
The goal of the redesigned website and content management system is to have a turn-key solution
generic enough to be self-hosted and maintained utilizing the WordPress publishing platform. The
design of the site is to be modernized, simplified, easily navigable, and updatable.
PSMFC aims to meet the following objectives with the website redesign:
Self-hosted and maintained PSMFC website
Designed and developed using the WordPress Publishing Platform
Extensive redesign, including but not limited to structure, content, content management
system (CMS), and graphics so that the website conveys PSMFC’s image as a leading
professional organization firmly engaged in current issues with an eye to the future and
respect for its 64 year past and traditions
A design and content management system (CMS) specification document for use by PSMFC
Staff and content designers of external pages and sites to promote and emphasize
consistent design and functionality
The new website should include a content management system and any necessary software
that will allow staff to download new material and revise existing content, including text,
PDF format documents, and graphics. Necessary staff training and site documentation
