WEBSITE REDESIGN
The Supreme Court of Appeals of West Virginia is seeking a web designer with the
desire, experience, and talent to complete phase one of a two-phase redesign of the West
Virginia Court System website (http://www.state.wv.us/wvsca/). Launched in 1997 and
originally featuring only six links, the West Virginia Court System's website now comprises
more than 253,000 individual pages. The goal of the site is to introduce and educate the public
about the judicial branch by providing valuable and timely information, and to fulfill the Court's
constitutional mission to preserve open access to the courts. Content should therefore be
informative, helpful, and of interest to the general public as well as practitioners, members of the
press, and other interested parties.
