WEBSITE REDESIGN
Proposals due at 4:30pm EST. The County is accepting proposals to redesign and improve our website, http://www.york-county.org.
Several other county websites that are currently hosted externally will be consolidated into the
main website or redesigned to mirror the style and format of the main http://www.york-county.org
page. This will be a concept-to-completion production. The purpose of this Request for Proposal
(RFP) is to provide a fair evaluation for all candidates and to provide the candidates with the
evaluation criteria against which they will be judged.
York County is seeking a user-friendly, easy-to-manage website. A key goal of the redesign
project is to migrate existing content into a new, redesigned format with improved navigation
and a service-oriented approach. The creation of a moderate amount of new web pages, graphics
and other features will be required. Other, outdated web pages will need to be removed. York
County will provide the vendor with content as necessary.
The site should be user-friendly and professional, with a design that balances content with
appropriate imagery.
Upon completion of the development of the site, York County will assume full responsibility for
web site content maintenance and administration. All content, coding and graphics will become
the sole property of York County.
