Deadline 5:00pm PST. The Authority is pleased to announce this Request for Proposals (RFP) soliciting proposals to design and develop a new website for the Authority. The Authority prefers a custom built web site that is a Content Management System (CMS). This will be a concept to completion project. The scope of this RFP is to provide a fair evaluation for all candidates and to provide the candidates with the evaluation criteria against which they will be judged.
Create a flexible, informative CMS web site that is easy to maintain. Develop a friendly site that
can deliver large amounts of constantly changing information to our key audiences. In addition to
designing a user-friendly site with an intuitive interface, develop web-based, database-driven
administration tool that allows key management personnel to easily update content without
directly accessing source code. URAP will efficiently manage web publishing processes,
preferably by using a system for editing content that has a browser-based user interface complete
with editing controls. The administration tool should also include the ability to manage
thumbnails/photos, allow for published date ranges, and include an approval system so that
URAP can maintain ultimate editorial control of content. Access to these administration tools will
be based on existing access controls and rules.
To be effective, our web site must be:
• Easy and intuitive to navigate
• Visually pleasing
• Informative with content that is easy to find
• Quick to load and operate
• Easy to update and maintai
