WEBSITE MODERNIZATION RFP
The Organization has embarked on a modernization program to upgrade its technology infrastructure and web presence. The first project in this program is to modernize the website (http://www.actgov.org) by redesigning the site, migrating to a new platform, providing a robust collaboration platform for our members, and improving the overall user experience. This infrastructure will become the foundation for future projects to increase our outreach through social media and mobile technologies, and develop a virtual conference room capability. The successful bidder will work in partnership with ACT-IAC to build and maintain the new website and supporting infrastructure by:
Redesigning the ACT-IAC website using innovative approaches that provide a dynamic and exciting experience for all visitors and a collaborative environment for our members to engage on topics of relevance;
Leveraging our investment in, and fully integrating with, Avectra NetFORUM Enterprise, which is ACT-IAC’s Association Management System (AMS) and the system of record for all member and activity data;
Replacing the current, end-of-life SharePoint 2007 Content Management System (CMS) with a feature-rich CMS that can be easily maintained by our member organization who generate much of ACT-IAC’s content ;
Recommending a hosting approach (bidder hosting, third party hosting, cloud, etc.) that will provide both a platform for growth and cost efficiency;
Suggesting improvements based on bidder’s association and web design experience; and
Maintaining the website and implementing enhancements that may be identified.
