The County program furthers environmental education by providing information to
residents and businesses about how they can reduce waste, increase recycling, and conserve
energy and water. The program will use a website through which residents and businesses can
pledge to implement several environmentally sustainable practices in their residence or place of
business in exchange for being identified as a member of the "Go Green" program.
