WEBSITE DESIGN AND LOGO DEVELOPMENT
The County Government is soliciting proposals to design a new website and logo for the planning organization.
The goal of this project is to develop a new website and logo for the organization. The required
services for the website are as follows:
Website Requirements
• Educational and informative regarding transportation issues facing the Memphis MPO
• User-friendly interface for public interactions, such as:
o A calendar of activities
o Interactive mapping of transportation projects
o Submittal of comments
o Survey abilities
• Aesthetically pleasing design that is clean, logical and easily navigable;
• Capable of hosting long range planning documents and an associated searchable database
• Capable of integrating ArcGIS-based maps which link to MPO databases, documents, and files;
• Performance Measure tracking;
• Capable of translating pages in various languages;
• Mobile device compatible across all major smartphone and tablet platforms;
• Promote upcoming events, speakers and previous events;
• Photo gallery;
• Job opportunities;
• RFP Information;
• V-cards that will easily add to Outlook or other similar email services;
• Integration with the following third-party applications:
o Google Apps communication and collaboration tools
o Facebook social media platform
o Twitter social media platform
o LinkedIn social media platform
• Capable of incorporating RSS feeds and social media, such as twitter, Facebook and YouTube;
• Accessible for all users, including those with low vision and limited English proficiency (utilizing
the World Wide Web Consortium Web Content Accessibility Guidelines);
• Utilizes the proper code, language, and programming to optimize search engine results; and
• Maintenance and updates may easily be completed by Memphis MPO staff
