The City requests proposals for the design, development and subsequent technical support and long-term hosting of a new City website. The City is seeking a website design that is visually appealing while also functional and easy to navigate. The goal of the City's new website is to provide simple and intuitive electronic access to public information, serve as a public communications tool, reduce transaction costs for the City and citizens, streamline business operations and to provide e-government/commerce transactions such as on-line permits, online forms and applications, and on-line payments.
