WATER RIGHTS SME RECORDS/ASSISTANCE
BLMB?s Phoenix District Office (PDO), is seeking a B?Water Rights Subject Matter ExpertB? to provide expertise related to maintaining active historical water rights records that must be maintained to support acquisition, maintenance, and protection of water resources. The Incumbent will assist with training District Specialists with file management, quantification of water resources, and filing actions with ADWR and to support federal reserve water rights. The Incumbent may conduct additional quantification and filing actions. Incumbent must be familiar with, and have a working knowledge of, water source inventory data, water rights records (including those for wilderness), and land tenure and minerals water rights files pertinent to the BLM - Phoenix District. Additionally, the Incumbent must have experience quantifying water resources, developing and maintain water rights records necessary for filing, as-well-as filing water rights applications with the Arizona Department of Water Resources (ADWR) and support of federal reserve water rights.
