WATER LINE IMPROVEMENTS-PEAKS OF OTTER
This requirement improves water service facilities at the Peaks of Otter Developed Area on the Blue Ridge Parkway in Virginia. This requirement replaces the existing water lines providing drinking water from the supply wells to the water reservoirs then to each service connection and hydrant. The new water lines will be installed in the same alignment of the existing water lines. An existing large diameter, open-channel water line will be replaced with a new pressure line and float valve. New meter boxes with meters and backflow prevention devices will be provided at all existing meter locations. Valves and valve boxes will be installed at existing and newly designated pipe intersections.
