WASTE GENERATION STUDIES FOR 2006 AND 2007
The County of Nevada, Department of Sanitation, Nevada County Recycles, is seeking a qualified and experienced Contractor to assist the County in:
More accurately quantifying local diversion activities and disposed tons attributable to the County of Nevada Unincorporated area, which when tracked more accurately are expected to improve the Countys diversion rate as reported to the California Integrated Waste Management Board (CIWMB);
Compiling the necessary information for submittal as a New Base Year request to the CIWMB; and
Development of a system the County may use in the future to determine its own diversion rate through conducting its own Waste Generation Studies to submit annually to the CIWMB in place of the CIWMB adjustment method-derived diversion rate.
