Voluntary Dental Insurance & Third Party Administrative Services

The City of San Antonio's Human Resources Department is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide and administer a self-funded Dental Preferred Provider Organization (CityDent PPO) Plan and a fully insured Dental HMO (DHMO). Voluntary dental benefits are offered to the City's non-uniformed full time active employees and their eligible dependents as a flex option within their cafeteria benefits plan. There are currently 6,884 eligible Civilian employees. Retired employees of the City may choose to enroll in the DHMO plan at time of retirement. There are currently1,500 retired employees eligible to participate in the voluntary dental program.
The Pre-Submittal Conference will be held at the City of San Antonio's Finance Department Hill Country Conference Room, Riverview Towers, 111 Soledad, 11th Floor, San Antonio, Texas 78205 at 1:30 p.m., Local Time, on Wednesday, February 1, 2017.
