St. Michaels Hospital (SMH) is constructing a new, state-of-the-art, 9 storey, 335,000 square feet research and education facility called Li Ka Shing Knowledge Institute (LKSKI). Comprising two linked buildings the Keenan Research Centre and Li Ka Shing International Centre in Health Care Education, the new facility will house advanced teaching spaces, offices, lab benching, simulation centre(s), and top-tier clinicians, researchers and educators, all in one setting.
